Nigeria was the second major find of Mandarin Garnet. While there was production, some of the largest, cleanest and most beautiful Spessartite Garnets ever found were mined there. As in Namibia, again a short lived find of finest grade alluvial rough was quickly depleted. We were fortunate to acquire this special stone and seriously doubt you could find anything close elswhere!! The inclusions are limited to the perimeter of the stone and will be cut away during faceting. The main body of this rare piece is loupe clean! |
